Ann’s Chicken Marbella
White Plains, New York

The Story:
Chicken Marbella (a classic from the Silver Palate) has been our extended family go-to recipe for all occasions for 40 years. It has ingredients I think most people don't usually keep in their cupboards, but it is worth a trip to the store (or delivery). It is incredibly simple to make and is very forgiving. It transports well and is always better the next day. I was going to say it freezes well, but I don't know - we never have leftovers. Even little kids, who generally pick out the olives and prunes LOVE the chicken.

Who am I?
I used to live on the Parkway (624) many years ago, but didn't meet Laurie until we started teaching the same day at Rye Country Day School. I started practicing restorative at the club, and join online whenever I can. I am so grateful to Laurie for enriching my life in so many ways - this is just one. Thank you for putting this together.

I am a retired school librarian who is working part time in a local public library. I love reading (obviously), swimming, walking, and travelling and exploring as much as possible. And I spend a LOT of time in Denver with my delicious (aren't they all?) grandchildren.
